One of the recurrent demands in the packaging of liquid products is to have on the side of the container a transparent band; or better a non-colored view stripe, that shows the level of the contents. The technology to produce this particular function is now consolidated and diffused on the market by the majority of the manufacturers.

Uniloy Milacron has taken a step forward with its own patent “flip & flop”; making it possible for its customers to choose the side of the container on which to insert the transparent band.

Once again, in view of maximum versatility and efficiency in the production, the patent permits to select without stopping the machine, the position of the transparent band, on one side or the other of the container, or on both.

The procedure does not require any dismantling of the head components. 30 seconds are sufficient to choose the desired configuration without altering the die centering.

Uniloy Milacron offers the new patent on request without any extra cost on the machines of new construction.
